Tactical.Vote says vote Lib Dem in the new Harpenden & Berkhamsted seat

A website that provides advice on tactical voting in the upcoming General Election is recommending voters back Liberal Democrat candidate Victoria Collins to get the Tories out.

Tactical.Vote is independent of all political parties and is funded by crowdfunding.

Because Harpenden and Berkhamsted is a new constituency, as a result of boundary changes, Tactical.Vote has calculated what the result in the 2019 general election would have been if the consistency had existed.

The website says: “The Lib Dems would have been the most likely second place in 2019 under these new boundaries, so should be best placed to challenge the Tories this time.”

Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Harpenden & Berkhamsted, Victoria Collins said:

“Tactical.Vote has confirmed the new Harpenden & Berkhamsted constituency will be a two horse race between the Lib Dems and Conservatives.”

“More and more people are turning to the Liberal Democrats to put an end to this terrible Conservative Government. The choice is four more years of a tired and out of touch Conservative party, or a fresh start with a Liberal Democrat MP.”

“I am proud to stand for Parliament for Harpenden & Berkhamsted and am determined to give this constituency a strong voice in Westminster. The people in this new constituency have been taken for granted for too long by Conservative MPs.”
